Sam's famous cattle call from the programme we made with Marcus Wareing (Tales from a Kitchen Gardeb) last March, made another appearance, this time, on BBC One's 'Saturday Kitchen' on 28th January 2023. It's hard to believe that was nearly twelve months ago, but it was lovely to be reminded of the herd in lush green grass and under dappled shade at Millichope Park.
It's now February and the snow drops, those little pearls of joy, have emerged along with the sturdy points of some of the spring bulbs. There's still some way to go but the days are definitely getting longer. Having said that we're rather glad that February is the shortest month. Roll on March!
